Can a chassis package be shipped to me?

No, not through a third-party freight company. Purchase and delivery can be organized by contacting CCI Machine & Fabrication directly. This helps us to maintain our quality of service throughout the entire process of purchasing a chassis package.

What differentiates your chassis from other manufacturers?

Accepted Answer

It is our manufacturing process that separates us from other chassis builders. With decades of experience building OEM equipment for various manufacturing industries, we have a well-rounded understanding of what methods work best for building repeatable and strong parts. Our education from designing, building, and operating the Dynamic Chassis Measuring System gave us meaningful data and insight during the design process of this chassis.

Do you build any chassis besides a perimeter style Late Model Chassis?

Accepted Answer

No, just the perimeter style for now. Discussions have also been had about building a straight rail chassis in the future.

Can you modify my existing chassis?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we can replace front and rear clips on any perimeter-style Late Model chassis. Whether you got into a wreck or want to update your chassis for future years of competition, we have you covered.

Question 5

Will your steering/suspension components work on other chassis brands?

Accepted Answer

Very unlikely, and I would tend not to recommend it. It is possible that the component will bolt up, but it is difficult to guarantee that the front-end geometry we've created with our chassis and components will translate with the different pickup points. However, other components like bumpers and  truck arms typically are okay to bolt onto other chassis brands.

Can you build custom components?

Most definitely. We are in the parts-making business. We are happy to provide custom chassis and components to meet your exact wants. For example, if you wanted to try a different spindle and upper control arm configuration than what we currently manufacture our in-house engineering team can design one to your specifications and quickly get it to the shop floor.

Is this chassis compliant with the NASCAR rule book?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this chassis was designed and manufactured according to the NASCAR Late Model Stock Car rule book.

Question 8

Will this chassis work as a Limited Late Model?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it will. Our front-end geometry is designed such that it will work in divisions that do not allow travel-limiting devices and have ride height rules. This is exciting for development teams and drivers as it provides an opportunity to gain experience in lower-level divisions without having to buy a totally new car to move up.

If I'm considering purchasing a chassis will I be able to come to the shop and see the process?

Of course. We welcome customers to visit our facility. Please contact us in advance to schedule an appointment, and we’ll be happy to show you our shop and discuss your project in detail.

Will I be able to get replacement parts in the future?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As we progress and release new iterations of our chassis, we will maintain the engineering records of past iterations and always be able to manufacture the parts for your model of chassis.

Do you maintain an inventory of parts?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we keep an inventory of the parts that we manufacture and use for chassis and components. However, we do not maintain a large inventory of purchase components (shocks, fuel cells, hubs).
